Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs)

We are a professional, fully accredited centre with the Scottish Qualification Authority; holding the management structure and quality assurance system to support the delivery, assessment and internal verification of SVQ qualifications.

Those who work in the health and social care sector know that high standards are essential for the services they provide, often working with vulnerable children and adults. In order to maintain and improve standards, and acknowledge the quality of care that already exists, SVQs are available to ensure that employees are working to National Occupational Standards.

Our qualified internal verifiers and assessors support you through this qualification to provide the skills, knowledge, understanding, values and confidence needed for you to carry out your job effectively and to facilitate personal growth.

We develop learning plans, which are focused on individual development needs; involving where possible and appropriate, service users, carers and managers in the assessment and learning process.

By blending innovative techniques with a collaborative approach, we have built a record of success in the number of candidates achieving their SVQs.
