Care Support

Everything we do in our care homes is for the benefit of our residents. Do you have the energy to be part of our high performing team?

We have new openings for part time work in Care Support, where you will be an integral part of the team. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • helping out at mealtimes, getting residents their meals 
  • collecting and dealing with laundry
  • keeping the rooms clean

You will learn about the residents, hearing about their life experience and their stories and contributing to their overall well being.

We have a person led approach to care, so a positive, friendly manner is key. We have forms to fill in so good written and spoken English is needed. Our shifts are either 7.30am - 7.30pm, 7.30am to 1.30pm or 1.30pm to 7.30pm so if you are available at those times, get in contact today with your cv or a letter telling you all about yourself.

Support Pool

Our in-house support pool work on a casual basis as required by our various services, to achieve quality, maximise resources and ensure better outcomes for our service users.

The flexible way of working gives access to employment in Bon Accord Care for those not able to commit to traditional style working arrangements and allows for a work-life balance to suit each individual.

The pool, managed by the in house office team consisting of the Support Pool Manager, Support Pool Customer Leads & Support Pool Coordinators, provides staff to all our establishments across the city, stretching from Peterculter to Dyce and includes residential, very sheltered and sheltered housing. The team often hold recruitment fairs throughout the year at various locations, with an ongoing drive to recruit the below positions:

On the weekend of 19th, 20th December I was ill, requiring a doctor. I was fortunate to have help from Lucy who, while being the only carer on duty, made time to check on me regularly on both days. This was appreciated. For such a young girl, she is an asset to the Bon Accord team.
